As the type SL3/SL4 is unbalanced seal utilizing mono spring, it can be applied to transfering the fluid having high viscosity

or abrasive slurry.

more stable sealing is available than the type SL1, SL2 at high pressure Nevertheless,

it cannot be applied to high speed rotation.
